About our team
Silent Run Farm is excited to offer a competitive IEA Team program for both Middle School (4th – 8th grade) and High School (9th – 12th grade) age groups. Erin has coached The Jaeckle Centre IEA teams for the past 3 years, leading both teams to winning seasons. With the close of The Jaeckle Centre’s IEA team, Erin will continue the team spirit out of SRF with the majority of the same riders, bringing their experience and showmanship with them.
SRF IEA team members are required to take a minimum amount of lessons at the farm to build a relationship with Erin. It is acceptable to board or show at regular shows with a different trainer and still be involved with SRF IEA program. Please contact Erin LeCompt directly to discuss joining the team.

About iea
IEA is a national program allowing riders to compete on a selected, unfamiliar horse (riders do not own the horse or tack they compete with). The riders earn individual points allowing them to qualify for regional, zone, and national shows. Team riders are chosen throughout the regular season which determines which teams qualify for regionals, zones, and national shows. IEA accommodates Walk Trot (for those just learning to ride), Walk Trot Canter, Crossrails, 2ft and 2’6 allowing all levels of riders compete.
The format of the show is unique: each rider is assigned a horse before the show; some draw from a format or are assigned one randomly from the show management; then are asked to show that horse after a short warm up ride. It allows for each rider to show off their equitation and be judged on the rider’s ability to ride each horse well.
